Artz Gala Awards – Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

By entering the Artz Gala Awards, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • The Artz Gala Awards are open to artists of all ages.
  • Each entrant may submit artworks in accordance with the submission guidelines.

2. Entry Submission

  • Entries close at 5:00pm, Friday 7th November.
  • Artworks must be delivered to Access Logan Inc. by close of business (5:00pm), Friday 14th November.
  • Late entries or late deliveries may not be accepted.

3. Artwork Delivery & Collection

  • Artists are responsible for arranging safe delivery of their artworks to Access Logan Inc.
  • All artworks must be collected by the artist (or their nominated representative) following the event on a date advised by the organisers.
  • Artworks not collected within the specified timeframe may be disposed of, donated, or repurposed at the discretion of Access Logan Inc., as permanent storage cannot be guaranteed.

4. Exhibition & Handling

  • Artworks will be displayed at the Artz Gala Awards event.
  • While all reasonable care will be taken in handling and displaying artworks, Access Logan Inc. accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage. Artists are encouraged to arrange their own insurance if required.
  • If you’re artwork weighs more than 5kg – you will be requested to transport the artwork yourself to exhibition prior to 8am on the 18th November, and to collect it at event close time (at 10:30PM)

5. Sales & Commission

  • Artworks may be offered for sale during the event at a price nominated by the artist.
  • A 30% commission will be retained by Access Logan Inc. on artworks sold (unless otherwise specified for auction donations).
  • Unsold works remain the property of the artist.

6. Children’s Section

  • A Children’s Section will be featured in the Artz Gala Awards for entrants aged 16 years and under.
  • Children’s artworks must be entered with the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Artworks may be submitted for display only or offered for sale (with parent/guardian approval).
  • All sale proceeds will follow the same commission structure unless otherwise agreed.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for delivery, collection, and supervision of their child’s entry.
  • Every child entrant will receive a Certificate of Participation.
  • Selected outstanding artworks will be recognised with Children’s Art Awards or Prizes, presented during the Gala event.

7. Consent & Promotion

  • By entering, artists (or their parent/guardian for under 16s) consent to photographs and recordings of their artworks being used by Access Logan Inc. for promotional purposes (including print, online, and social media), without further payment or compensation.
  • Artists retain copyright of their own work.
  • Must be accompanied by a parent / guardian to the exhibition event and/or gala night event.

8. General Conditions

  • The organisers reserve the right to refuse artworks deemed unsuitable, offensive, or non-compliant with the conditions of entry.
  • Decisions of the judging panel (if applicable) are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
