These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Artz Academy website (artz.au) and participation in our programs, workshops, classes, and services. By accessing our website or enrolling in any Artz Academy activities, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. About Artz Academy
Artz Academy (ABN: 20 233 157 496) is an Australian art education provider based in Queensland. We offer in-person and online art classes, exhibitions, and access to educational resources. All classes are run by qualified facilitators and align with relevant Australian curriculum frameworks where applicable.
2. Enrolment and Eligibility
Enrolment in classes is open to participants aged 16 and over unless otherwise specified. Minors may attend where specifically allowed, with written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Enrolment is only confirmed upon full payment or official registration via an approved platform.
3. Payments and Fees
All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in advance unless prior arrangements have been confirmed in writing. Refunds are available in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the class or event may be eligible for a full or partial refund or transfer to a future session, subject to availability. No refunds are provided for non-attendance without notice. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes if minimum numbers are not met or in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a refund or rescheduled booking.
5. Conduct and Safety
We maintain a respectful and inclusive learning environment. Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward facilitators, other students, and venue property. We reserve the right to remove any participant who engages in unsafe, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All course materials, teaching resources, original content, artwork samples, and curriculum created by Artz Academy are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise permitted in writing, you may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any Artz Academy content.
Participants retain the rights to their own original artwork created during classes or workshops, however, Artz Academy reserves the right to photograph or record student works for the purpose of promotion, documentation, or educational reference, unless a written request is made to opt out.
7. Online Content and Digital Services
Artz Academy offers access to online content, including downloadable resources, class recordings, and virtual classes. Access is provided for personal and non-commercial use only. Any unauthorised distribution, duplication, or resale of online resources is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
Artz Academy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your participation in our services or use of our website. We do not guarantee that your artistic outcomes will meet personal expectations or professional standards. While we strive to provide a safe and professional environment, you participate at your own risk.
9. Health and Accessibility
We aim to provide inclusive access to individuals with diverse needs and abilities. Please inform us of any health, mobility, or support requirements prior to enrolment so reasonable adjustments can be made. We are committed to creating a welcoming space for NDIS participants, carers, and support workers.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using our services, you consent to the handling of your data as outlined in that policy.
11. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
